This pack contains a set of six mint stamps, which were produced to celebrate the bicentenary of the Royal Horticultural Society. Founded in 1804, the Royal Horticultural Society has grown to be the world's leading horticultural organisation, with the Chelsea Flower Show being it's best know venture. The stamps feature 6 of the 9 cultivar registers for which the Society is internationally responsible for. They were photographed by Barbara and Zafer Baran. This beautifully-illustrated pack features six plants that play an important part in garden history. There is also a timeline of the Society's history.
