The Baxi thermistor is designed for use with Baxi boilers such as the 100 Range, Duo-tec, Duo-tec ERP, Megaflo, Megaflo ERP, Platinum, Platinum +, Platinum ERP, System IE, Gold, Gold ERP, Heatmax, Promax, Promax ERP, Promax Ultra ERP, Titanium and Titanium ERP. The thermistor reduces circuit resistance as the temperature rises. The printed control board of a boiler sends a current to the thermistor, which reads the relative resistance to determine whether a decrease or increase in heat is required.
