Bedec Barn Paint is a water-based acrylic paint with a semi-gloss finish, designed for exterior use on a wide range of surfaces including wood, plastic, galvanised steel, brick, concrete and cladding. It is suitable for protecting barns, stables, sheds and other outbuildings, and can be applied to previously painted surfaces, including those with weathered bitumen, tar or varnish. The paint offers good colour retention and resists cracking, blistering and flaking, helping maintain a durable finish over time. The product is 2.5L in volume, quick to dry to touch and can be recoated after a few hours, making it convenient for outdoor projects. It can be used on both interior and exterior surfaces and is suitable for multi-surface jobs.

This multi-surface paint is low odour and quick-drying, with a practical approach to painting porous substrates. For best results, ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from contaminants, and use appropriate preparation methods such as knot-block priming for knots.

Usage

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants before application.
2. For untreated weathered wood, new wood, cement render, plaster, or porous substrates, dilute the first coat with up to 30% clean water.
3. Apply a knot block primer to knots before painting.
