This combination keeps wind, rain and snow out while allowing moisture to escape during exertion, suitable for skiing, winter walking and everyday use in inclement conditions. Construction is practical and hard-wearing. Key seams are critically taped to reduce water ingress at the most exposed points. The jacket has a fixed hood for consistent head protection, a two-way front zip for ease of movement and ventilation, and a chin protector at the zip to prevent rubbing. Stretch cuffs help seal out snow and improve comfort under gloves.
