Bayside Calypso ceiling fan with AC motor, incl. wall switch The Bayside Calypso ceiling fan can also be installed on sloping ceilings with a maximum angle of 18 degrees. An extension rod (90 cm) can be purchased separately as an accessory so that it can also be used in rooms with high ceilings. A wall switch, which can be used to set the speed of the AC motor, is included in the scope of delivery. The AC motor can be operated at three speed levels and these are controlled using the wall switch supplied. This can also be used to switch Bayside Calypso on and off. Alternatively, a remote control can be retrofitted (see accessories) and the summer and winter functions can be switched directly on the housing. In winter mode (reverse), the blades rotate anti-clockwise. This ensures that the air heated by the heating is channelled back into the room via the ceiling and thus optimally distributed.
