It opens with Calabrian Bergamot and a quiet touch of miracle berry, barely-there sweetness that clears the way for the heart. Butterfly lily takes centre stage there, a floral note so rare this is its first appearance in perfumery. Worth knowing. Worth smelling. The base settles into roasted oakwood and a dense patchouli absolute that gives the whole thing its quiet, earthy gravity. Hermès calls it a skin perfume. That's accurate. It doesn't announce itself.
