Manor Springs Organic’s basil is grown in Egypt before being dried, chopped and packed for maximum freshness. Organic Basil is most readily associated with dishes that are heavy on tomatoes, such as certain pasta sauces, soups and stews, and with Italian cooking, in which it’s a staple ingredient. It pairs exceptionally well with oregano, and in dishes where the less robust taste of the fresh herb would be lost among the other ingredients, such as roasted meats, poultry, fish and vegetables, or sauces and stews.
