The jacket features 700 Fill Power down, arranged in a combination of micro and nano baffles to increase core warmth and reduce bulk. The Microlight packs down into an easy-to-stow stuff sack, small enough to fit into any size backpack. It is designed to insulate beneath a hard shell in extreme environments but can be worn as an everyday jacket too. Its recycled Pertex Quantum fabric features a DWR coating in case of light showers. In cold weather, its down-filled hood with stiffened peak can be adjusted for extra warmth and comfort. The down used in the Microlight is treated with Nikwax hydrophobic formula. Whereas untreated down loses its ability to insulate in damp conditions, hydrophobic down repels moisture and retains its ability to loft and insulate. Your gear dries fast and stays warm.
