Sadolin Classic All Purpose Woodstain provides deep protection by penetrating the timber, helping guard against weather elements for both indoor and outdoor use. Available in Rosewood, it offers a traditional red-brown hue that can enhance timber across various surfaces, including decking, fencing, and cladding. The product can be applied as a standalone stain or used as a basecoat for subsequent finishes on joinery treated with Sadolin Extra.

This woodstain is formulated for large surface areas and rough sawn timber as well as planed softwood and hardwood. It delivers a translucent matte to semi-matte finish, with the final appearance varying with the timber’s absorbency. Drying times are modest: touch dry in 4–6 hours, with recoat possible after 16–24 hours. Coverage per coat ranges from up to 15 m² per litre on planed timbers to around 8 m² per litre on rough sawn timber.

Because the product is designed for deep absorption, it provides durable protection and helps resist blistering and flaking. It is not suitable for surfaces previously coated with a medium or high build coating, and colour representations may differ from the can.
