Sadolin Classic Wood Protection Mahogany 2.5 Litre

Sadolin Classic All Purpose Woodstain offers deep, protective penetration for timber, suitable for interior or exterior use. It can be applied as a standalone stain or as a basecoat for later coatings, for example under Sadolin Extra on new doors or windows. The finish is a translucent matte to semi-matte, with Mahogany as a colour option, and it provides durable protection for large timber surfaces such as decking, fencing, and cladding.

This woodstain is designed to absorb deeply into the timber to guard against weathering and shift of finish. It resists blistering and flaking, creating a robust coating for varied surfaces. Drying times are touch dry in 4–6 hours, with recoat possible after 16–24 hours. Coverage per coat ranges up to 15 m² per litre on planed softwood or hardwood, and up to 8 m² per litre on rough sawn timber. The Mahogany colour provides a reddish-brown tone, and the level of sheen may vary with how absorbent the wood is. It is not suitable for surfaces that already have a medium or high build coating.
