Initially earthy, almost savoury aromas, with balsamic notes, and then the fruit comes - raisins, apricots and baked apples. Palate: Quite evidently from a PX cask… Super sweet, with Demerara sugar, crème brûlée, molten dark brown toffee and rich honeycomb.
