Description
Bedec Barn Paint is a tough, water-based acrylic paint designed for exterior use on a variety of surfaces. Available in a semi-gloss finish, it is suitable for protecting external buildings such as barns, stables, sheds, and other outbuildings. The product can be applied to wood, plastic, concrete, weathered galvanised steel, brick and cladding, including surfaces previously coated with tar, bitumen or varnish. It provides good colour retention and resists cracking, blistering and flaking, helping surfaces stay looking renewed for longer.
The paint is low odour and suitable for interior and exterior use, with self-priming properties and quick drying times. It can be applied by brush, roller or spray and comes in a 2.5 L volume. Touch dry is typically reached in around 2 hours and a re-coat can be applied after 4 hours, with the recommended application temperature above 10°C. For best results, ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from contaminants before application. On untreated weathered wood or other porous substrates, the first coat can be diluted with up to 30% clean water as a primer sealer.
