Hammerite Red Oxide Primer is a water-based primer designed for bare and rusty iron and steel. It provides a smooth protective base for overcoating with minimal sanding and is suitable for interior and exterior use. The primer promotes adhesion to stainless steel and non-ferrous metals, including galvanized, aluminium, chrome, brass, and copper. Only one coat is required for optimal results, and it dries quickly to allow repainting after a short wait. The product comes in red and has a volume of 500 ml, with a coverage of approximately 16 square metres per litre.

This primer is suitable for use on a variety of metal surfaces and applications, offering a versatile base for subsequent topcoats.
