Hammerite HAM6701341 Special Metals Primer 250ml

Hammerite Red Oxide Primer is a water-based primer formulated for use on bare and rusty iron and steel, providing a smooth protective base for overcoating with minimal sanding. Suitable for interior and exterior applications, it promotes adhesion to stainless steel and non-ferrous metals such as galvanized surfaces, aluminium, chrome, brass, and copper. The 250 ml red primer covers up to 16 square metres per litre, dries in about 30 minutes, and can be repainted after 2 hours with only one coat required. It is suitable for a range of applications including BBQ fire surrounds, garage doors, metal garden furniture, metal railings, and radiators.
