A typical 1200 x 800mm tray weighs just 18kg, making it significantly lighter than many stone resin options.In terms of standards and sustainability, our trays are fully compliant with all UK and EU requirements, including CE, EN 14527, EN 198, and REACH regulations. While WRAS certification isn’t required for trays, our acrylic sheet is manufactured to EN 263 for domestic use. Unlike some alternatives, we don’t use chipboard or other wood-based reinforcement materials – instead, we use Flax Particle Board, a more environmentally friendly alternative that offers strength without compromising on sustainability.Please note, while it is possible to cut an acrylic capped tray, a cut edge can potentially be exposed to water ingress.
