- Brick and Stone: Simply brush away dust and debris before painting.
- Terracotta: Sand the surface until the glaze is removed. Apply water to test; if it beads, continue sanding until the water absorbs.
- Metal: Primer is essential for metal surfaces; use grey primer for darker colours and white primer for lighter shades.
After preparing, stir the paint well, and it is recommended to test the colour on a small hidden patch before applying the first coat.
