Hammerite Direct to Rust Metal Paint provides durable, corrosion-resistant protection for metal surfaces both indoors and outdoors. It can be applied directly onto rusty surfaces without the need for a primer or undercoat, saving time and effort. The paint forms a protective barrier that seals out moisture, delivering a smooth, glossy finish and long-lasting protection of up to 8 years. Suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as certain plastics and wood, it is a 3-in-1 formulation that acts as primer, undercoat, and topcoat in one. The 750 ml tin yields around 5 square metres per litre and dries to touch in about 1 hour, with recoat times of around 4 hours. The product is solvent-based and designed for exterior metal applications, offering a silver, smooth finish.

It is designed for a wide range of metal surfaces, including gates, railings, drainpipes, guttering and garden furniture, delivering a smooth glossy finish with a high sheen. The direct-to-rust application eliminates the need for priming, providing corrosion protection for up to eight years and a durable decorative coating for exterior metalwork.
