Hammerite Direct to Rust Metal Paint is a high-quality, solvent-based coating designed for direct application onto rusty or clean metal surfaces. It forms a durable, protective barrier that seals out moisture and prevents corrosion, delivering a smooth blue finish for outdoor and indoor metal items such as gates, railings, guttering, drainpipes, and garden furniture. The product combines a 3-in-1 formula that eliminates the need for primers or undercoats, saving time and effort, and offers up to eight years of rust protection with a glossy, high-sheen finish.

This exterior metal paint is easy to use and provides ultra-tough weather resistance. It is suitable for direct application to rusted areas and is designed to dry to a smooth, glossy blue surface. The coating is designed to provide long-lasting protection, with a touch-dry time of around one hour and re-coatable after about four hours.

Usage

• Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from loose rust or paint
• Stir the paint thoroughly before use
• Apply directly onto the metal surface using a brush, roller, or spray
• Allow to dry for at least 1 hour before
