Our drums are strung with goat skin, a 3 mm metal ring and thick 4 mm alpine cord mountaineering quality ready to play and have a good sound. The body of the djembe is made of mahogany wood which comes from sustainable plantations. Since the above raw materials are natural products and our bongos are manufactured by small craft companies under the simplest conditions, slight colour variations of the wood/fur as well as natural unevenness as well as slight colour differences are unavoidable and therefore not a reason for complaint.
