This listing is for a Pack of 1 To prepare copper pipe for solder ring fittings, cut it square, deburr the edges, clean the pipe end and fitting socket to bright metal with an abrasive pad, and apply a thin layer of flux before assembly. To solder a solder ring fitting, clean and flux the pipe end, push it fully into the socket, and apply heat evenly to the outside of the fitting until a complete 360 degree ring of molten solder appears at the socket mouth. Ensure there is zero standing water inside the pipe. Even a single drop of water turning to steam during heating will blow the molten solder out of the capillary gap. WRAS Approved
