Rub the dry mehendi off from the surface with towel/ tissue paper (DO NOT USE SOAP/HANDWASH). After few hours wash with plain water. Henna starts giving color in 24 hours You will see rich dark stain over the time. 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐫/𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧: Apply Sugar and Lemon Mixture: Once your mehndi has dried, apply a solution of Sugar and Lemon mixture to make it dark. Boil three tablespoons of sugar in water, allow it to cool, and then add an equal amount of lemon juice to get a thick syrup-like consistency. Use a spray bottle or dab with cotton all over.
