Failure to follow preparation and storage instructions may make your baby ill. Preparation & water: Wash hands and sterilise all utensils. Boil 1 litre of freshly run water, leave to cool for 30 minutes (to ~70°C), then pour the correct amount into a sterilised bottle as per the feeding guide. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water. Adding powder: Using the scoop provided, add powder as per the feeding guide. Level off with a clean, dry knife. Do not press or heap the powder, as incorrect amounts can make your baby ill. Mixing & feeding: Attach teat and cap, then shake immediately (vertically for at least 10 seconds) until fully dissolved. Cool under cold running water or in a bowl of cold water and check temperature on your wrist (lukewarm, not hot). Start feeding immediately and finish within 2 hours. Important notice: Breastfeeding is best. Infant milk is suitable from birth, when babies are not breastfed, and should only be used on the advice of a doctor, dietitian, pharmacist, or other professional responsible for maternal and child care. Do not allow prolonged or frequent contact of milk feeds with your baby's teeth, as this increases the risk of tooth decay. Ask your dentist for advice.
