Description

Amazon 40mm Waterless Trap - Designed for compatible 40mm / 1½ inch waste pipework, including bath waste, kitchen sink waste, utility sink waste, shower waste and urinal waste installations. Self Sealing Waste Valve - Internal membrane opens when water flows through, then closes automatically to help block drain odours, sewer gases and smells from returning through the pipework. Helps Prevent Trap Dry-Out - Unlike a traditional water trap, this waterless waste valve does not rely on standing water, making it useful for pipework that is not used every day. Horizontal or Vertical Fitting - Suitable for horizontal or vertical installation where the pipework allows. Useful for shallow spaces, compact waste setups and tight fitting areas. Check Size Before Ordering For 40mm / 1½ inch waste systems. Most basin wastes are 32mm / 1¼ inch, so check your pipe size before ordering. Do not use drain cleaning chemicals through the valve.
