4x Insulated Line Post 1.35 m Electric Fence Posts

A permanent fence must be able to stand and function maintenance-free for a long time. The material and method of installation are important here. The insulated Line Post with clips is the new solution for permanent fences. The post stands just as firmly in the ground as a wooden post thanks to its solid base. Thanks to the fibreglass core and the HDPE plastic sheath, it is very flexible and gives way when an animal or anything else makes contact with the fence. Insulators/clips The Line Post post is fully insulated, and for this reason cannot cause power loss. The insulators, also called clips, can be easily clicked onto the post at different heights. There are two clips; for (smooth) wire/cord and tape. These clips are very strong and can handle a force of 160kg. The clips are twice as strong as most screw-on rod insulators. Easy and quick to install When it comes to installation, the clip also has an advantage over a screw-on rod insulator. No tools are required when attaching the clip and it is done in no time. Faster compared to screwing on a screw-on rod insulator. This also applies to positioning. Installing a line post post can be done in 12 seconds, while installing a wooden post takes 1 minute. To save costs, droppers can be placed between the line post posts. This allows the posts to be placed further apart without the wire hanging. Very strong posts The Line Post fence post does not weigh much and does not have a large diameter. Nevertheless, the post is very strong. This is due to the 16 mm fibreglass core, which makes the post flexible, pliable, strong and therefore durable. The fibreglass core is coated with a UV-protective polyethylene layer. This makes the post maintenance-free with a lifespan of 25+ years. The material makes for a lightweight post that is easy to carry. Line Post posts can only be used for relatively straight stretches. Wooden corner posts should be used for corners and the beginning and end. Dimensions The Line Post post is available in three different sizes: 140cm, 190cm and 205cm. The length is measured from the ground.
