50mm exhaust Clamp, 125mm stainless Steel Pipe Connector Sleeve 409 steel, double bolt clamp for 50 mm outside diameter pipes, 125 long, weld free fitting

Check Pipe Size: This exhaust repair sleeve is made for straight, round pipe with an outside diameter of approximately 50 mm and covers 125 mm along the joint. Measure the pipe at the intended fitting point before ordering; oval, flared or heavily deformed ends can prevent correct seating, while even a small diameter difference may affect clamping. Controlled Tightening: Two bolts and nuts allow the sides to be tightened gradually. Alternating between the fasteners helps distribute pressure across the wide band, keeps the exhaust pipe joiner centred and limits one-sided movement during fitting. This lets the position be checked and corrected before both fasteners receive their final tightening. 409 Grade Steel: The silver metal sleeve is intended for the moisture, road dirt, spray and temperature changes normally encountered beneath a vehicle. The formed body supports a stable connection during routine use without adding an oversized fitting. Loose rust, burrs or badly distorted pipe ends should be prepared before installation. Weld Free Installation: Allow the system to cool, then clean and dry both pipe ends. Slide the connector across the meeting point, keep the band square and tighten the nuts in alternating stages with suitable hand tools. The clamp-on process suits exhaust repair or replacement work where a mechanical joint is preferred and access beneath the vehicle permits fitting. Suitable Joint Areas: Use on matching straight sections of a car exhaust system, including compatible tailpipe joints, centre silencer sections and intermediate connecting pipes. This is an equal-size coupler rather than a reducer, so both mating sections must suit the stated diameter. Check clearance around the joint before ordering and inspect the fixing after initial journeys.
