General description Our 6MM Wire Rope Grips are manufactured from mild steel with a galvanised coating for corrosion resistance. They are suitable for use in rigging setups on boats or similar applications on land. These grips are designed to create loops of wire in a rope assembly or to provide a temporary join when needed. Ensure spacing between the grips is at least 6 times the diameter of the rope. Orient the grip correctly, placing the 'u' bolt on the unloaded end of the rope. Tighten each nut evenly and in turn to achieve the recommended torque settings. Leave unused for 24 hours and check the torque setting again, re-tightening if necessary. After the first application of the load, re-check the torque setting and re-tighten if
