This 1/4" shank router cutter is compatible with all the leading brands of hand held routers, it is compatible with the Dewalt, Makita, Katsu, Bosch, Trend router etc as long as your router takes a 1/4" shank these will fit. This solid carbide 2 flute up cut router cutter has a sharp cutting edge. The spiral up cut design pulls the chips upwards which gives a very clean finish at the bottom of the cut. As the chips are pulled upwards this can lead to some breakout / chipping at the top of the cut so if this is a concern then we would recommend using a 2 flute down cut router bit instead. This spiral router bit can be used in CNC router machines, fixed head routing machines, hand held routers and desktop routers. These 2F up cut router cutters are suitable for use on a wide range of materials such as hardwood, softwood, MDF, MFC, Laminate Board, Plywood, Particle Board, Insulation Panels, PVC, solid surface and Acrylic. Manufactured from wear resistant micrograin carbide which results in a longer tool life.
