Description
The Shire Crib Kids Wooden Playhouse is a substantial, two-storey play space designed for outdoor adventure. Built in Great Britain from premium 12mm shiplap tongue and groove cladding on a sturdy 34mm frame, it features a weatherproof 12mm tongue and groove roof and floor for lasting durability. The apex roof includes a log-cabin-style overhang and decorative bargeboards with two diamond-shaped finials, giving a traditional, attractive appearance. Access is via a veranda with balusters and a front door that includes a roller catch, full-length safety hinge and a diamond-shaped window, while antique-style dummy hinges are purely decorative. A second access point is provided by garage double doors on the side, both with safety features. Inside, a wooden ladder leads to the first-floor area, enclosed by a balustrade for safety, and three framed styrene windows—two opening for ventilation—fill the interior with natural light. An upstairs window with shutters adds charm and light control. The design complies with BS EN 71 (CE) safety standards and uses FSC®-certified timber. The wood is dip treated and arrives in a honey-brown hue, with guidance available on assembly, retreatment, and maintenance to preserve the anti-rot guarantee.
