📏 70mm TO 57mm INTERNAL DIAMETER (ID) - Large end 70mm (2 3/4"), small end 57mm (2 1/4"). 5.5mm wall, giving an Outside Diameter (OD) of 81mm and 68mm. 127mm long overall. Measure the outside of both pipes you are joining and match them to the two ID sizes. 🔧 JOINS TWO PIPE SIZES - A straight reducer joins two pipes of different sizes in one piece, so no metal adaptor is needed. Typical uses at this size: intercooler and charge pipes, large bore induction and air intake pipework, and performance radiator hoses. For air, water and coolant; not suitable for fuel or oil (choose our Fluoro Lined fuel and oil hose for those). 🌡️ -50°C TO +180°C OPERATING RANGE - Rated -50°C to +180°C with a peak of +250°C, so it copes on charge air and intake pipework next to a hot turbo, and on large coolant circuits. Working pressure 3.5 bar, burst pressure 10.5 bar (3:1 safety factor). 🛡️ SAE J20 R3, 4 PLY POLYESTER REINFORCED - Smooth extruded silicone inner with 4 layers of polyester fabric in the 5.5mm wall, so it holds its shape under pressure and resists swelling. The silicone resists ozone, UV light, weathering and ageing, so it lasts outdoors and in the engine bay without perishing. 🔵 BLUE - FITTING TIP - Push the hose fully onto the pipe, then use hose clips that cover about 68mm on the small end and 81mm on the large end. Blue silicone gives a bright show-car look that stands out under the bonnet and is easy to trace. Also available in other colours and sizes.
