Cow & Gate Follow-On Milk formulated for babies from 6-12 months. It contains no palm oil and provides important nutrients such as Vitamin D, Iron, Calcium and DHA (Omega 3) to support your little one as they move onto a varied weaning diet. Dental advice: Do not allow prolonged contact of milks with teeth and make sure your baby's teeth are cleaned after the last feed at night. Ask your dentist for advice. Hygiene & Water Preparation: Wash hands and sterilise all utensils according to manufacturer’s instructions. Boil 1 litre of freshly run water, then leave the kettle to cool for 30 minutes (no longer). Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water. Powder Preparation & Mixing: Using the scoop provided, level off the powder with the back of a clean, dry knife without pressing or heaping it. Add the correct amount of powder to the water, ensuring scoops are measured accurately. Fit the sterilised teat and cap, then shake the bottle immediately, vertically and vigorously for at least 10 seconds until fully dissolved. Cooling & Feeding: Cool the bottle under running tap water. Check the temperature of the feed before serving. Feed immediately once it is safe to do so. Important: Breastfeeding is best. Cow & Gate Follow-on milk is only for babies over 6 months, as part of a mixed diet. It should not be used as a breastmilk substitute before 6 months.
