Bead size: The bead size of our silica gel desiccant is 3–5 mm. These are not the fine powder type for flower drying. Please do not use them to dry the flowers. Moisture Indicator: The color of the silica gel beads changes from orange to dark green when 50–60% humidity is absorbed. The beads still have 40-50% moisture absorption after color change. The moisture absorption limit of these beads is up to 35% of their own weight. Instruction for rejuvenation: The beads can be reactivated by placing them in the microwave for 0.5 to 2 hours at 200 to 250 °C or for 10 minutes in the defrost mode in the microwave. Do not heat the beads above 250 C in the oven. It may take shorter than the recommended time to reactivate the beads, depending on the condition of the beads. Please check the colour of the beads regularly.
