Marina 3 In 1 Breeding Box. MARINA 3 in 1 Breeding Box: A Versatile Safe Haven for Fish and FryElevate your aquarium management and ensure the survival of your newborn fish with the MARINA 3 in 1 Breeding Box. This multi-functional and indispensable piece of equipment is expertly designed for the dedicated aquarist who wants to provide the best possible care for live-bearing fish, protect vulnerable tank inhabitants, and maintain a harmonious aquatic environment. Whether you are an experienced breeder or just starting with guppies, mollies, or platys, this breeding box is the ultimate solution for increasing fry survival rates and managing your community tank effectively. Its thoughtful design prioritizes the safety and well-being of both mother and offspring, making it a crucial tool for successful fishkeeping. The primary function of this unit as a hatchery is where it truly excels. It provides a secure and isolated space for pregnant fish to give birth, away from the potential dangers of a community tank where newborn fry are often seen as food. By placing the pregnant mother inside, the perforated double-bottom partition will allow the newborn fry to fall through and remain out of the mother´s reach. This innovative design is critical for livebearers, which can exhibit filial cannibalism. Thanks to the central divider panel, two pregnant females can be in the farrowing pen at the same time, maximizing its utility in a busy tank. The V shaped base further ensures that the delicate fry are safely channeled into the protective bottom chamber, away from the stressed mother.Beyond its function as a superior breeding trap, the Marina 3-in-1 farrowing pen can also be used as a quarantine enclosure for injured fish or aggressive fish. This provides a safe and stress-free space for a sick or wounded fish to recover without being harassed by other tank mates. It also serves as an excellent time-out zone for a bully fish, allowing you to restore peace and order to your main display aquarium. Furthermore, it´s an ideal chamber for acclimating new, sensitive fish to your tank´s water parameters before their full release. This versatility makes it one of the most valuable accessories you can add to your pet supplies. The clear plastic construction allows for easy monitoring of your fish at all times.Features:* A safe floating refuge for fry and live bearing fish.* It has two closed areas for viviparous animals.* Secure bottom compartment collects and protects falling fry.* Security camera for pregnant females.* Ideal isolation chamber for sick or weak fish.* V base that allows fry to fall safely.Specifications:* Dimensions: 16.5 cm x 8.25 cm x 8.9 cm* Attributes: Boxes, Fish. tradeinn Bricoinn
