The ABUS 83/50 Chrome Plated Brass Padlock is designed for high security and durability, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It features a solid chrome-plated brass body with a hardened alloy steel shackle and a NANO PROTECT coating for enhanced corrosion resistance. The lock uses a rust-free, six-pin tumbler cylinder with anti-pick mushroom pins and incorporates a patented pinning window. Its versatile design supports various keying options, including master-keying and key retention, and it can be adjusted with a patented 'Z-Bar' to operate in key-retaining or non-key-retaining modes, as well as automatic locking or key-to-lock configurations. These characteristics collectively contribute to reliable protection against tampering and accommodate different security applications.
