Often referred to as pickle spice, this blend of rich, aromatic spices is ideal for use in pickling fruits & veg – creating a classic spicy, sour pickle taste. This can also be used as a spice blend, adding to sauces, curries & using to garnish traditional dishes such as khichu (a snack made from rice flour) make a traditional garlic achar by adding 200g peeled garlic cloves to 20g achar masala spice and 100ml mustard oil, leave to pickle for around 1 week.
