ACO GroundGuard Ground Reinforcement Grid Tiles

This description combines two products: the JCW Acoustic Quilt partition roll and the ACO GroundGuard Ground Reinforcement Grid Tiles. Each product is designed for different applications—one for soundproofing partitions and ceilings, the other for stabilizing surfaces like grass or gravel—sharing a focus on practical installation and effective performance.

JCW Acoustic Quilt

The JCW Acoustic Quilt is a high-performance partition roll that can be laid over ceilings, suspended between timber floor joists, or fitted in metal and timber wall stud partitions. It consists of two 25mm mineral wool layers sandwiching a 2mm acoustic barrier, made from mineral wool and an acoustic membrane to provide excellent sound absorption and dampening. In certain configurations such as a single frame partition wall with 70mm acoustic metal studs, resilient bars, and two layers of staggered acoustic plasterboard, it can achieve a 50-decibel reduction in airborne noise. The roll is 5m long by 600mm wide and 52mm thick, weighing 9kg, with a coverage of 3m. It offers an average sound reduction of 22 decibels and is designed to be easy to fit. Available in sizes offering 3m or 6m coverage, it is ideal for ceilings, between joists, or wall stud partitions.

GroundGuard Ground Reinforcement Grid Tiles
