Adnams Distillers Choice 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky 70cl 51.2% ABV In presentation Gift Box

Our distillery has reached a special milestone, with the release of a our first ever 12-Year-Old Single Malt - still something quite special in the English Whisky world. Forming part of the Distiller’s Choice range and presented in a smart branded gift box, it is made with 100% East Anglian malted barley and has been matured in ex-bourbon casks. Add a splash of chilled spring water according to taste and enjoy aromas of butterscotch, banana and date-like honeyed dried fruit. Flavours of vanilla and ripe figs follow, with light spice on the finish. Before we have single malt, we have new-make spirit. Adnams started distilling in October 2010 and a little later, we began laying down our new-make spirit in a variety of carefully chosen casks. We then waited impatiently for three years and a day, for our whisky to mature. It’s now 2023 and our distillery’s reached a milestone. We now have our first whiskies to reach 12 years old. Released as part of the Distiller’s Choice range, our 12-Year-Old Single Malt is made with 100% East Anglian malted barley and matured in ex-bourbon casks. It offers a tantalising taste of our future.
