CONNECT TV TO COMPATIBLE AUDIO EQUIPMENT: Carry digital audio from a TV optical output to a matching soundbar, AV receiver or amplifier input. Check for full-size TOSLINK optical sockets on both devices. FULL-SIZE TOSLINK AT BOTH ENDS: The male-to-male lead uses the familiar square-profile optical connector. It is different from mini-TOSLINK, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, HDMI and digital coaxial RCA connections. 2 METRES OF ROUTING LENGTH: Choose a route with room behind your equipment and gentle bends along the cable. The 2 m length suits setups where the measured path between optical sockets falls within that reach. BRAIDED CABLE, METAL HOUSINGS: The black braided outer and zinc-alloy plug shells give the cable a substantial finish. Grip the connector body when inserting or removing it and align the keyed plug with the socket. LIGHT-BASED DIGITAL CONNECTION: Optical audio travels as light through the cable.
