Ideal for daily commuters, e-bike owners, and anyone who values quick, reliable protection, the RS 480 XL is a benchmark in bicycle security. The primary benefit of the RS 480 XL is its exceptional ease of use combined with a high level of theft deterrence. As a frame-mounted lock, it remains on your bike at all times, eliminating the need to carry a separate, heavy lock in your bag. With a simple turn of the key, a hardened steel shackle slides through your rear wheel, immobilizing it instantly and effectively preventing ride-away theft. This makes it perfect for quick stops at the store, cafe, or office. One of the standout features is its innovative Protect-O-Connect system. This intelligent design transforms the RS 480 XL from a simple immobilizer into a comprehensive security hub. The lock features a dedicated port that allows for the seamless connection of a TRELOCK plug-in chain or cable (sold separately). This enables you to not only lock your rear wheel but also securely anchor your entire bicycle to a fixed object like a lamppost, fence, or bike rack, providing a second layer of protection against thieves who might try to carry your bike away.Designed with modern bicycles in mind, the XL designation refers to its extra-wide 75mm passage. This generous clearance easily accommodates bikes with wider tires, such as e-bikes, city cruisers, and trekking bikes, as well as those fitted with mudguards or fenders, ensuring a perfect fit without interference. The security of the lock is centered around its high-quality components. The sophisticated IN-X Cylinder provides a high degree of protection against picking and tampering. This is complemented by the user-friendly reversible keys, there is no up or down, so you can insert the key effortlessly without fumbling, even in low-light conditions. The lock´s formidable security is certified by its impressive TRELOCK Security Level of 13 out of 18 and its ART-certification (for the non-removable key version), a respected standard that signifies proven resistance to attack. The robust padlock box is also treated with advanced corrosion protection, guaranteeing smooth operation and a long service life, even when exposed to harsh weather.Brand: TRELOCKSpecifications:- TRELOCK frame lock ´´RS 480 XL´´- Passage Width: 75mm- Security System: Protect-O-Connect- Certification: ART (for version with non-removable key)- Keys: 2 Reversible Keys- Cylinder Type: IN-X Cylinder- Services: Key Service available- Protection: Corrosion Protection- Mounting: Includes fixation and ZR 20 bracket- Trelock Security Level: 13 (out of 18)- Weight: 720g- Model Code: FRAME LOCK TRELOCK RS 480 XL NAZ 75MM- TW. tradeinn Bikeinn
