After completing the water cycle, the last step is usually filling the system. Every now and then it happens that some liquid leaks somewhere. Often it is due to the fact that a HardTube or hose does not fit correctly or a connector has not been completely screwed in. With the Alphacool leak testing tool, you can test the tightness of your water circuit before filling the system. Construction: the leak testing tool consists of a hand pump, a pressure gauge, a 11/8 mm hose at the end of which a connection with G1/4 inch thread is attached. The whole thing is connected to each other via a tea piece. The hose is 40 cm long and has a kink protection spring. Connect the Alphacool leak testing tool to a free G1/4 inch connection in the system and operate the hand pump until the desired pressure has been reached. Please note that there may be different maximum information depending on the manufacturer. Now you should wait about 15 to 20 minutes. If the pressure does not fall off after this time, the water circuit is tight. Technical data: measuring range: 0 – 1 bar thread: G1/4 inch connection hose length: 40 cm
