Altra Olympus 6 Hike Low is a light and durable hiking shoe designed for long trips across changing weather and terrain. It features a Gore-Tex Invisible Fit membrane to keep feet dry without adding weight or reducing breathability. The shoe has a wide, FootShape toe box that allows the toes to move naturally, enhancing comfort on extended hikes and reducing the risk of pressure points. A compression-molded EVA midsole provides soft cushioning, and with a 0 mm drop, you obtain a natural and balanced foot position. The Vibram Megagrip outsole delivers strong grip on both wet and dry surfaces.

The upper combines leather and textile for durability, while the lining remains textile for comfort. A constructed collar offers a secure, stable fit, and the GAITERTRAP hook-and-loop tab enables a gaiter to be connected to help prevent debris and mud from entering the shoe. The lacing system locks the foot down to minimise movement. Gore-Tex membrane seals out moisture, and the design aims to minimise pressure points, wrinkles and material noise while running.
