Altra Olympus 6 is a maximum-cushioned trail shoe designed for long distances, technical terrain and demanding surfaces. It features a wide platform and comfort-oriented construction, with an aggressive grip to support ultrarunning, long hikes and mountain adventures. The shoe uses Altra’s Balanced Cushioning™ (zero drop) and a Footshape™ toe box, providing a natural and relaxed foot position with ample room for toe splay. The midsole employs EGO MAX foam for generous comfort, durability and energetic cushioning, while the updated Vibram® Megagrip outsole delivers reliable traction on wet, loose and uneven surfaces. Built for tackling steep climbs and long descents, it emphasises comfort and stability.

The engineered mesh upper enhances breathability to keep feet cool. A premium collar and Achilles pillow offer a secure, comfortable fit, with sidewalls adding structure and durability. A hook and loop tab enables a gaiter connection to reduce debris on the outsole, though gaiters are not included. The lacing system locks the foot down to minimise movement, supporting a secure fit across varied terrain.
