The Midsole in Altra EGO Provides Moderate Cushioning with a Springy Running Sensation and keeps the foot close to the Ground with a total sole Height of 21 mm. The Platform is zero drop, so heel and Forefoot are at the same Height, and the Footshape last gives the toes room to Spread During Take-off. The upper in mesh is Breathable, light Overlays Protect the foot from sharp Stones, and a new Tongue Construction Reduces Pressure from the laces. The Outsole in Maxtrac has Redesigned lugs that Provide grip and a Flexible sole with good Contact with the Ground. The shoe is Suitable for Lighter Trails, Gravel roads, and Forest paths.
