Acting as a carrier for the compound, the wheel makes contact with the workpiece to achieve the desired surface finish Instructions for use: Before polishing, apply polishing compound (polishing wax or paste) to the cotton polishing wheel. Using a cotton wheel without compound can easily scratch the workpiece and cause increased shedding of loose threads. Dressing: After repeated use, residue may accumulate on the polishing wheel; a polishing rake can be used to dress the wheel's surface, allowing it to be used again Quality: The polishing wheel is crafted from a single, solid piece of premium-quality cotton, featuring a genuine leather center mount.
