ANCOR Heat Shrink Step-Down/Multi-Wire Butt Connector 16-14 AWGAchieve unparalleled reliability and versatility in your electrical systems with the ANCOR Heat Shrink Step-Down/Multi-Wire Butt Connector. Engineered for the most demanding marine and automotive environments, this connector provides a robust, permanent, and environmentally sealed solution for complex wiring challenges. Move beyond traditional connections and embrace a superior method that guarantees protection against moisture, corrosion, and vibration, ensuring the long-term integrity and performance of your critical electrical circuits.Ancor's innovative assortment of adhesive lined heat shrink butt connectors is designed to serve multiple functions with a single, high-quality component. They can be expertly used as a step-down from one gauge size to another or as a multi-wire connector for consolidating same-gauge size wires. This makes them the ideal sealed alternative for products such as a quick-tap or 3-way connector, especially in areas where corrosion is a primary concern. Eliminate weak points in your wiring harness and create connections that are built to last, providing peace of mind in any application.Engineered for Flawless Performance and DurabilityEvery feature of the ANCOR butt connector is meticulously designed to simplify installation while maximizing connection quality. The high 4:1 shrink ratio tubing is lined with a powerful adhesive that activates with heat, creating an impassable, watertight seal between wires. This seal is your first line of defense against saltwater, humidity, and chemical exposure. A flared barrel with a pure copper wall guarantees a proper and secure mechanical crimp every time, maximizing electrical conductivity and strength. For foolproof installation, an integrated crimp indicator on the barrel shows the proper placement for your crimp tool, while the clear heat shrink tubing allows for visual inspection to ensure crimp accuracy before sealing. Furthermore, colored stripes on the barrel clearly indicate which crimp die to use, removing guesswork and standardizing your results.ConnectorsThis product is a premium-grade, adhesive-lined heat shrink butt connector designed for exceptional versatility. It functions as both a step-down connector, allowing for a secure transition between different wire gauge sizes, and a multi-wire splice connector, enabling the joining of multiple wires into a single, sealed input. Its construction is ideal for creating permanent, moisture-proof, and strain-resistant electrical connections in harsh environments.Technical Specifications* Shrink Ratio: 4:1 adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing* Crimp Guidance: Visual crimp indicator and color-coded die stripes* Inspection: Transparent heat shrink tubing for crimp verification* Barrel Design: Flared for easy wire insertion* Side 1: Accommodates one 16-14 AWG wire. * Side 2: Accommodates either two 16-14 AWG wires or one 12-10 AWG wire. tradeinn Waveinn
