Everytime you clip a dog, the drive lever will wear away ever so slightly, meaning that this will need to be changed on a regular basis with regular servicing to ensure the best performance of both your clippers and blades. This part is not covered under the manufacturers warranty and may need to be changed every 3-6 months, depending on the amount of use the clipper gets.
