A powerful holding magnet on the bottom of the housing allows the spotlight to be secured to metal surfaces quickly and easily or, when combined with the charging/mounting cradle, to be charged easily. The light output is excellent: three different LEDs ensure a perfect, homogeneous and bright light pattern - which caters exactly to your needs. The 10 W LED with the special reflector design is used for long-range lighting, and generates a uniform light pattern over the entire illuminated area. 5 W LEDs are used for the medium range and close range, which use lens technology that emits the light with the uniformity appropriate to the respective area of use. The function that lights up all LEDs allows the spotlight to generate an output 1700 lumens with a light range of up to 470 metres. A powerful, built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery pack with 10, 400 mAh provides the necessary energy. A micro-USB connection is used for charging, either from a mains socket or by using a standard USB charger in a car/truck - practical for industry and rescue services, such as fire brigades, agencies for technical relief etc., as no special connections are required. When the battery capacity is low, the hand-held spotlight automatically switches off to prevent a deep discharge from damaging the battery pack. State-of-the-art charging technology (with overload) controlled using a microcontroller, fourfold safety cut-off to prevent short circuit, overcharging and deep discharge, which has been optimally adapted to the specific properties of lithium batteries, ensures that the charging process is automatically terminated as soon as the battery is fully charged. This makes overcharging impossible, thereby providing a maximum level of safety on the one hand and an outstanding performance and long service life for the battery pack on the other hand. The micro USB cable included, or the wall bracket/charging cradle, is used directly for charging. A control indicator on the on/off switch provides information about the remaining capacity of the lithium battery pack, and about the charging progress. The spotlight is easy to operate using the two function buttons: switch 1 is the mode button and switch 2 can be used to activate the LEDs. The Mode button switches the spotlight on and off. Pressing and holding the button activates infinite dimming. The LED selection button activates the 3 LEDs successively and the fourth setting activates all three LEDs at the same time. The HS20R Pro lights up with a powerful 1700 lumens in 100% mode, with an operating time of approx. 7 hours. Depending on which light mode and LED is selected, the spotlight can operate for more than 100 hours The practical warning light function, suitable for warning about and indicating hazards, has an operating time of more than 490 hours.
