Our external shields are made from 2.5mm matte black powder coated steel and our internal shield is made from 2.5mm green powder coated steel. Adding 5mm of steel protection, the skin of most OEM doors is little over 1mm thick! Our shields come with a closed cell foam gasket which sits flush between the door & the exterior shield, creating a water-tight protective barrier to prevent rust and corrosion.
