Our charango string sets are made from innovative materials, discovered and perfected in our laboratories after a long period of research and after being thoroughly tested, resulting in a new high-tech synthetic product. Sugar Charango strings offer a particularly bright and powerful sound. Sugar is a cutting sensitive material. Before mounting the strings, make sure that the grooves at the nut and bridge are shallow, perfectly smooth and without sharp corners. If not, use 600 grit emery cloth or fine-grained steel wool. Do not use the strings on instruments with a vibrating length greater than 14.5 inches.
