Palate: Silky and refined, this Ardbeg opens with restrained peat that smolders rather than roars, woven with vanilla, honey and subtle toffee. Bourbon-cask maturity adds warm caramel and oak spice, while sea-salt and iodine keep the profile brisk and mar Finish: Long, maritime finish with ash-smoked peat, complemented by bourbon-derived vanilla and caramel. A salt-kissed, iodine-tinged warmth lingers, slowly fading into soft oak and a whisper of spice as the smoke gradually subsides.
