Ardmore Decadent Drams Single Cask Single Malt Scotch 27 year old 52.8% ABV Nose: Soft, drying peat smoke with pepper and tar; waxy undertones, plus hints of aniseed and camphor. Palate: Dryer, fuller, taut peat smoke frames a waxy, mineral-oil mouthfeel, threaded with hessian, medicinal notes and a whisper of farmyard. Finish: Long and drying, the finish coats with mineral and waxy threads as the peat smoke lingers, tempered by a kiss of dried honey.
